Post-game quotes:

Dragan Petričević, coach of Timisoara: “It’s a perfect run so far considering the results, but let’s not forget that we played three games at home. However, the team’s game is far from perfect. At certain moments in the game, we make certain wrong decisions. These decisions show that we do not have enough intelligence in the game, or maybe it is a drop in our focus. We have to be objective. We have many good playing moments, even the majority of the time we work hard on the field, but when we have bad moments, they are very damaging in the evolution of the score. We work hard on the field to reach a difference of 11–12 points, and we lose this advantage in a minute or two, and this happens quite often. It is important for us that we play well in this European competition.”

Igor Kesar, player of Timisoara: “It was a good game for us considering how we started. They scored three points, but after that, we came back and took the win. We have a tough schedule, we don’t have time to celebrate. We are already thinking about the next game. Today I scored 26 points, and in the next game probably someone else will be the best scorer. the most important things are to play as a team and to win the game. Now we have three wins in the Alpe Adria Cup, and our next game will be in Viena. For the moment is good!”

Predrag Benaček, coach of Kolín: “Congratulations to the Timisoara team! They played better today, and they deserved to win. We played very well on offense, especially with the three-point shots, we ended with a good percentage. Timișoara is probably the best team in this group. We came with only nine players and without our best American player, who is the best scorer and rebounder on our team.”

Jakub Petráš, player of Kolín: “It was a very hard game for us. We came to Timisoara with only nine players, and our coach tried to share the minutes between us because we needed to be ready for the next important game. It was a hard game, both mentally and physically. We fought a very good battle against the home team, but we had too many turnovers.”
