Presenting the Final Four participants, Triglav aiming to play the best games of the season

At the end of introducing the participants of the Final Four of the Alpe Adria Cup Women, we kept Triglav. The Slovenian team will challenge Slávia Banská Bystrica in the second semi-final, but they travel to Piešťany with the determination to play their best games of the season.

– You are part of the Final Four of the Alpe Adria Cup. How do you feel about the fact that you managed to get through the group stage?

„Our group was very tough and balanced, so we are happy that we qualified for the Final Four.“

– How do you evaluate your performance in the Alpe Adria Cup so far?

„I think we were an equal opponent in all the matches in our group. Even in the games we lost, we had chances to win. Especially in the last tournament in Kranj, we played at a high level. I hope that we will show such games in the Final Four.“

 

– You are part of the first year of this competition, how do you evaluate it and how do you feel about its potential in the future?

„We enjoy playing Alpe Adria Cup games. The players were very motivated for these games. There were many strong gams. I hope that this competition will continue in the future in the tournament system. I hope, too, that some other team will join the competition.“

– The Final Four is in front of you, what kind of mindset are you going into it with?

„We will prepare well for the Final Four. We want to play the best matches this season.“

– What can you already say about your semi-final opponent?

„Our semi-final opponent is Slávia Banská Bystrica. We know that they are a very good and experienced team. We respect them, but we don’t fear them. We will prepare well and give our best on the pitch.“

– What will be the key to achieving your goals and ambitions?

„We want to play fast and solid basketball. Defense will be the key to success. We want to have good energy and play with confidence.“
