Damir Milačić, head coach of Šibenka: “I’m not dissapointed, I’m only sorry that there was too little time for recovery. We are a young team, but we shouldn’t make some mistakes. These are entrances from the bench where the player doesn’t even know where he is, it’s the result of too many games and different opponents, so things like that happen. I honestly expected that we could have big problems against Zabok and Olomoucko, fortunately in choosing a defeat, I prefer that we won against Zabok, and today we lost, although I am extremely sorry because every international victory is important not only for me but for club, players, basketball, city… Olomoucko deserved the victory, their players play serious basketball, but I’m not dissapointed, I’m just sorry because we had a chance. In the first half, we were constantly behind, but at halftime we made some defensive changes that helped us get back into the game. I think that the decisive factor in the second half was that we played with much more confidence than in the first half, that we managed to stop their transition as much as possible in the third quarter, although they came back again in the last quarter. I would like to congratulate my teammates for their outstanding fight on the field and I think they deserved their first victory of the season and I hope that everything will go better for us after this.”
