The last game of the second round of the Alpe Adria Cup between the SKN and Triglav started off exciting and extremely balanced. The guests from Slovenia caught the worst start but were able to take the helm after a few minutes and take the lead with him. Determining the game, the ladies of the Triglav were able to go into the first quarter break with a 4-point run at 19:15. In the second quarter, the hosts from St. Pölten were able to take the lead again due to a strong rebound performance under the basket, whereby no team clearly managed to stand out.

The second half followed the same course of play as round number one over long distances. Especially the player with the number 13 of  Triglav, Manca Vrecer, and St. Pöltner Nina Krisper (number 11) fought a battle at the highest European basketball level. In the final phase of the encounter, the home team kept the longer breath and was finally able to win the game due to a lower turnover rate and high-percentage converted throws.
