Decin was running the floor better and Graz could not stop home team in the first part of the game as Decin made a scoring run 14:0 to get it on 22:5 when Siska drove to the basket making AND1 situation. Graz let everybody know that they will not give up easily answering 0:7 in the end of first quatre on 26:15.

As Decin moved the ball well, austrian team was answering mainly with three pointers or free throws in second quatre. Pomikalek made three highlight dunks in this quatre, one of which closed twenty minutes score on 51:34 for home Warriors.

Autrey openned third part with threepointer and Decin kept the lead whole 10 minutes more or less same. Hosts were executing free throws with high percentage as they scored 8 of 13 points from the line in this quatre. The score after 30 minutes was 69:47.

In the last quatre Graz showed ist character as Matic and Kuiper were “holding flag” for austrian team scoring 15 points together (Graz made 17 in 4th) in these minutes. Decin was not able to score that easily as in first half and hosts were fighting for better result. Matic, Graz’s captain, set the final score from free throw line to 79:64.

Ervin Dragsic, of Graz: First I want to congratulate to Decin, they deserved to win. We had some problems on the road so we arrived late, we didnot have properly warmup and stretch. We lost the game in first quatre, but we kept fightning till the end, so basically I am satisfied as it was our first championship game. We will try to get back to Decin when they come to Graz.

Andrija Matic, of Graz: Congrats to home team for the win. We travelled 8 hours before the game so our legs were there as we started horribly. We missed layups and so on. There is a lot of games in front of us in the season and we will improve our game.

Tomas Grepl, of Decin: We played solid game as it was first official game in the season for us. Of course there is a lot of space fro improvement, but we are happy we divided minutes to all 12 players and that young guys received some space on the floor.

Simon Jezekof Decin: We had great first half when we showed how we want to play, ball moving, quick running, without turnovers. But we were not able to avoid a lot of mistakes, we were missing lay-ups, turning the ball over and we let our opponent score easy baskets. I think the difference could have been bigger if we stayed in better focus.
