The start of the first quarter is not easy for the Bulls and Dinamo can set the pace at the beginning. Dinamo was able to maintain its lead in the first period, but the Bulls’ throws didn’t really sit well, and they didn’t really find a rhythm. Towards the end of the first quarter, the Bulls got within 20:24 of the guests. At the beginning of the second quarter, the guests continued with six points from the three-point line, Miro Zapf went under the basket for the Bulls and scored points. But the Bulls clearly lack the defense to slow Dinamo down. It wasn’t until the end of the second quarter that things started to pick up again for the Bulls, and they started to catch up: Rudi Williams started with free throws, Tobias Schrittwieser scored from a three-pointer, and Dani Grgic added an “and one”. Urald King then equalizes under the basket. But the guests took the lead again at halftime, with 40:45.

Back from the half-time break, Urald King scored important points, and Rudi Williams scored two three-point throws. The Bulls are back on track, and the game is now balanced. Noah Baumann also scores from the three-point line again in this section, and the Bulls take the lead. It stays that way in this area too, because the Bulls are running hot and can now control Dinamo well. The final score is 70:63. In the final quarter, Noah Baumann scored three points again, and the Bulls remained in the lead. Dinamo held up well again in the fourth period, but the guests made a lot of mistakes and fouls. The Bulls are now rustling again from the three-man line – Tobias Schrittwieser and Nemo Krstic right behind each other. Towards the end, the Bulls build up more and more of a lead, make the fans in Walfersam cheer, and win the home game with 95:79.

Josip Sesar, coach of Zagreb: “In the first half, we played very well, in the second half, we lost our concentration. Too many turnovers and other things we have to work on in practice. Congratulations to Kapfenberg!”

Ivan Nakić-Vojnović, player of Zagreb: “While we had the chance, we kept leading, but then our energy drained. Then they picked up the pace and deserved the win in the end. Congratulations!”
