After 1st qarter one would expect different end result of the game. Suns started better, but after Štemberger made 2 consecutive heavy 3-pointers, Kvarner machine started running while Suns did not recover till half time.

We saw similar picture in the second half, but Kvarner quickly restored control over the game, being more precise and concentrated in offence. Suns lacked team play and hard work in defence.

Kvarner’s experienced center Špralja had highest score with 23 points and 9 rebounds, accompanied by his young colleague in the paint Baković with 20 points and 6 rebounds. The only hot Sun was Čakarun with 16 points and 7 rebounds, playing against his team-mates from last season.
