The guests from Hungary obviously arrived with a very young team. Highly motivated Oroszi B., a player of Egis Körmend, was the first to score in this game. But BC Hallmann Vienna did not wait long for an answer and scored 4 3-pointers until minute 5 which lead to a win of the first quarter (25:18). The second quarter started with 4 points in a row by Trmal, player of BC Hallmann Vienna. Egis Körmed tried to score under the basket instead of taking the open shots from outside – BC Hallmann took lots of successful shots from outside. The home team tried to act more aggressive on the rebounds and still kept shooting and scoring from outside. Half-time break with 59:36 on the scoreboard. Back from the break, Stjepan Stazic was on fire! With 3 x 3-pointers within 4 minutes made the gap bigger and bigger. Körmend tried to stay in the game with playing easy and solid moves under the basket but without success. After 30 minutes the score difference was 37 points. As expected, Egis Körmend tried everything to score and BC Hallmann still kept his efficiency on the court. It may also be mentioned that young players got a chance to gain some experience and did a great job on the home team side.

Zadeh, player of Vienna: Good rythm, good offense. Now let’s focus on the BSL.

Stazic, player of Vienna: I am very happy, we played very well.

Patai, head coach of Körmend: We didn’t play like I wanted them to play. We knew that Vienna is a good team. We are unhappy but not because of the loss but because of our low energy level.

Kelechi, player of Körmend: The score is not important – but we definitely need to improve!
