Post-game quotes:

Damir Milačić, head coach of Šibenka: “We lost this game from a much better team than us. I cannot be satisfied with the final result. This is a match that came to us after Dinamo where there was a huge consumption, but we cannot justify it with this result, especially in the last quarter where the players fell mentally. The fight was on a certain level good, they took us far from the three-point line, they threw the center far away and we simply could not get close to the basket. They are very experienced and they fully deserve this victory, even this difference in the end, because we cannot lie, some things did not go as we want it. What I wanted at the end was to share the minutes a bit because we have a new game waiting for us in three days.”

Antonio Klarin, player of Šibenka: “We played against a very experienced team and that experience was clearly shown, especially in the last quarter. They also showed that most players play at a higher level of competition. We are a young team that needs to react better and differently to matches like this.”

Aramis Naglić, head coach of Vienna: “We did not enter the game in a great rhythm, we struggled in the first half. Šibenka entered the match with a lot of respect, even though it is a young team. However, later on, given our strength and experience, we showed that we are better and deservedly won. I would like to wish coach Milačić and the whole team of Šibenka good luck and I think that what they are doing is very good.”

Ivan Siriščević, player of Vienna: “We came here to win and that’s what we did. Congratulations to Šibenik for their fighting spirit, after all, it is a young team. We came up a little short with the rotation due to some of our problems that we have. The atmosphere was good, congratulations to my players and Šibenik, it was great game.”
