The match started with big offensive energy. From the beginning the visitor team was led by Baťka, he got Spišskí Rytieri into a 20:18 lead after the first quarter. Velika Gorica responded with a 12:3 run in the second quarter, which got them into a double-digit lead. Slovak team managed to fight, but again, the home team with a good ending resulted in 45:31 after 20 minutes.

Velika Gorica was doing just fine on offense, they were rolling to get their first win in their first game in AAC. Before the last 10 minutes it was 63:43 for the Croatian team. Pretty much nothing changed in the fourth period, Spišskí Rytieri got only a good finish of the game, but the win got Velika Gorica.
