Post-game quotes:

Michal Madzin, coach of Patrioti: „More than win, I’m happy for the style and performance, we came to this win. I have to say, that it was a pleasure to see the energy from each player in this match. We fulfilled everything we wanted to. Great team energy on the both sides of the court. That’s the thing, that I’m happy for the most. I think, we fully deserved this win.”

David Abrhám, player of Patrioti: „We are very happy for this result. We knew, it wouldn’t be an easy match, Pardubice is a strong opponent. I think, we were prepared well, from the first minute we gave them nothing on the court. Almost everything, what we reached for, went in. We did a good job in defense, managed to control the rebounding and made many shots from outside. In this case, I’m rating this positively.”

Dino Repeša, coach of Pardubice: „Congratulations to the home team to win. We gave some players, who doesn’t play Czech league, a chance. They had it, but they didn’t do a good job. Our goal in Alpe Adria Cup was to play with young players, but we cannot continue like that. Our energy was very bad, also the concentration from the beginning.”

Kamil Švrdlík, player of Pardubice: „Obviously, for us it is a bad result. We didn’t have a good approach to the match. We thought, we could give minutes between more players, but that worked out only in the beginning. Levice felt good, they played well and were giving the shots. We helped with some of our stupid decisions. I was disappointed, because in the end it looked like we gave up. In the break we talked about that, we don’t want to lose by big here, but didn’t take it well.”
