Post-game quotes:

Zlatko Jovanović, coach of Komárno: “Difficult game as we expected, we were playing against one of the top teams from Czechia. Same scenario as every game: on offense, we didn’t share the ball enough that I would like. I think that was the problem in the first half of the game and there was a problem with rebounds. In the second half the players showed their characters, the last 15 minutes were full of really good basketball. It comes to the last ball, this time it goes to Kolín. Still, is it in our hands, we can still finish in the first place of the group, which could be a great success for the whole team and for the club.”

Shane Gatling, player of Komárno: “We had a better second half than a first half. I think, we are a very talented team with many new guys, some guys came 2 weeks ago, I came a week ago, so we are still getting to know each other. If we can put good halfs together, we can be a good team and a hard team to beat.”

Adam Konvalinka, coach of Kolín: “I think we were a better team for the first 25 minutes and we had a lot of energy. Then for the remaining 15 minutes, there was only one team on the court that dominated and that was the home team. The ending was happier for us and I don’t know wether deservedly or not, that’s how it is in endings of games. We’re obviously happy for the win, but that final 15 minutes is a warning finger for us.”

Ondřej Šiška, player of Kolín: “We had a great start to the game, we did well on offense and defense. Later on the home team tightened up in defense and I have to admit that their pressure defense was a novelty for us, this also helped them to get back into the game. We were a bit disturbed by the verbal shootouts between the benches, the home team started to shoot difficult shots too. We are happy to win, but we wanted to win by more than 12 points. Now we have to get the rest because we have another game on Saturday.”
