In this game, where both teams were fighting for  first place in group C, we saw two different halves. In the first half, Dabrowa Górnicza, especially with high percentually success in shooting, dominated, in the second half Spišskí improved their defense and in third quarter they allowed them scored only six points, which in the end was the reason that Rytieri won the game.

Post-game quotes:

Štefan Svitek, coach of Rytieri: “Congratulations to our players for todays performance and for winning the group C. In the first half we had problems with defence, where we were not able to react quickly in some game situations. In the second half we improved our defence, we started to help each other and that was the reason we won the game.”

Adam Antoni, player of Rytieri: “Our qualification to the next step AAC tastes very good. We wanted to win  game in any case and our first place was a very nice bonus. After a worse first half we started to play more agresive in defence, much  better in offence, and we won this important game.”

Jacek Winnicki, coach of Górnicza: „Congratulations to Spisski Rytieri, especially in the second half; they played very well. The biggest difference was in the third quarter, where we played bad on offense and defence.”

Marcin Piechowicz, player of Górnicza: “We played a good 1 half, we got a lot of open shots. We were also scoring under the basket on good percent. In the second half we started with good energy but we missed a lot of shots. We lost our peace and Spisski used that well. They outscored us in the 3rd quarter. Them, we need to take more risk and that doesn’t work. Spisski was using the advantages well and they were controlling the game to the last whistle.”
