That was second game between those teams. After first at Gliwice home court, some of the Šenurs fans thought that Slovenian team could make revenge. But they were wrong. Gliwice scored some outside points in the first quarter and that makes players more confident. Šenčur starting five was not best of, but missing two important players, due to an FIBA qualification, made home coach to play with some teenagers.

In the second quarter home players show some more aggressiveness and before halftime score was much more tied. Guest from Poland realised that Slovenian team try to seek some chances to win this game. Both American guards were brilliant tonight. Mack and Washington scored 8 three ponters, four more added Dloniak. That was the main reason that home team didn’t have any chances. Gliwice score 17 three pointers with excelent procentage of 63%. Gliwice was better team in rebounding 22/32 and got five more assists.

Rade Mijanović, head coach of Sencur: “Offensivly we played pretty good, but our defense was not on distant level. We missed two important players who are with national team for FIBA qualifications. Over all that was quite good game for us.”

Pawel Turkiewicz, head coach of Gliwice: “We had 17 points ahead from our first game and this is could be very dangerous when you think that is going to be an easy game. We score some three pointers and sort of defend Šenčur’s agressivnes trying to catch us.”

Jakub Dloniak, player of Gliwice: “It was tough game for us. Šenčur played good in ofense. They scored more than 80 points so our defense was not in a proper shape. Luckily we score 17 three point shots, but we have to improve our defense.”
